Pastor Mike Pyle, Senior Pastor
In 1971, after returning from Vietnam, I totally surrendered my life to God, in a friend’s home. My life totally changed and my greatest desire, then and now, is to know God. I graduated from Trinity Bible College, and have attended Bethany Bible College, the University of Southern Indiana, and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. I have had the honor of pioneering one church and pastoring two; also I have traveled with my brothers, singing and preaching across the United States. I have enjoyed being a Pastor for the past 40 years and love witnessing the change and growth in peoples’ lives. My wife Sherry and I have been a team in ministry and have three children: Chris, Corrie, and Seth.
Sherry Pyle, Children’s Pastor
For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep desire to love and honor God. Through the years my passion has been to teach children the things of God and to develop a relationship, with His Son, Jesus Christ. My prayer is to encourage children to become totally committed and devoted followers of Jesus Christ. I have attended Trinity Bible College, Bethany Bible College, and graduated from USI. My husband Mike and myself have devoted our entire lives to teaching and equipping people to follow Jesus and we have loved the JOURNEY. We have three children, Chris, Corrie, and Seth.
Pastor Matt Malek, Associate/Youth Pastor
I love being a Youth Pastor! My wife and I came to Eagle’s View in 2007, and I have been in Full-time Youth ministry since 2005. We are both graduates of Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. I have a passion to see God move in the lives of the students of this generation and see them find the purpose that God has for them. I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and Ellie is from Evansville. A few things I love are Nebraska Football and a good cup of coffee. Ellie has a Master’s of Social Worker degree and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. We have two boys, Brayden and Gabriel.
Tony Soellner, Worship Pastor
I have had a passion for music for as long as I can remember. Though I was not saved until I was 17 years old, (now 23), once Jesus saved me, worshiping Him through music came naturally. After high school, I attended Evansville Masters Commission (a discipleship/Bible training program). There I learned how to study and teach God’s Word, and I developed a passion for these as well. During my time there, I helped with and eventually led the worship team for Evansville Masters Commission. I am now extremely blessed to be able to serve Eagle’s View Church and worship God through the passions and talents He has given me.
